A next-generation agent, starting with an assistant

Your assistant
runs the whole board.

Duck Do is not another chat window. You talk to an assistant; it takes the work, breaks it into tasks, sends agents to do them on your Mac — and keeps every task, session and open decision on one map you can read at a glance.

Why this isn't another chatbot

A chatbot answers. An assistant takes over the work.

The difference isn't a bigger feature list — it's who keeps track of the work.

A chatbot

Waits for your next message. You are the one who remembers what's half done, what stalled and what comes next.

The assistant

Owns the backlog. You state the outcome once; it splits the work into tasks, keeps their order and moves them along while you're away.

A chatbot

Its history is a scrollback. To know where things stand you read back through threads and reconstruct the state yourself.

The assistant

Its overview is a map. Every task, the session working on it, what is blocked and what is waiting for your call — drawn as one tree with live status, not a feed.

A chatbot

Is a destination you visit. Work stops when you close the tab, and every device is a separate conversation.

The assistant

Is the front door. Sessions are workers, not places. You reach the same assistant from Mac, iPhone or Android, answer what needs deciding, and the work keeps running at home.

Under the assistant

One entry point. Everything else hangs off it.

Sessions are workers the assistant dispatches, not separate apps you visit. You choose a task on the map; the assistant decides what runs, what waits and what needs your call.

Agents that work on your Mac

Point an agent at a project folder and describe the job. It reads and edits files, runs commands and reports back — in your real environment, not a sandboxed demo.

Many sessions in parallel

Run several sessions side by side and see at a glance which ones are working, waiting for you or finished. An assistant session can hand out tasks and gather the results.

You stay in control

Risky steps — deleting files, running unfamiliar commands — come to you as approval cards. Nothing irreversible happens without your say-so.

Your Mac, from your phone

Turn on remote access and follow, reply to and approve your Mac's sessions from the Duck Do app on iPhone or Android — or from another Mac signed in to the same account.

Memory you can edit

Duck Do remembers your preferences across devices. Every memory is visible, and changes or deletions go through a confirmation card you can review.

Reminders and scheduled tasks

Ask a session to check back later or send a message on a schedule. Cloud chats come with web search, voice input and read-aloud.

Every device

One account, the same Duck Do everywhere

Native apps for macOS, iPhone and Android share one account. Cloud conversations, memory and tags sync between your devices; work on your Mac can be followed from anywhere through remote access.

  • Local work stays local. Conversations and file changes from Mac sessions are stored on your Mac.
  • Only what's needed is sent. To generate a reply, the conversation is sent through Duck Do's model service to the model you picked.
  • No ads, no tracking. No usage analytics and no automatic crash reports. Diagnostics leave your device only when you choose to send them.
  • Credentials in secure storage. Sign-in tokens live in the system's secure storage (the Keychain on Apple devices) and are cleared when you sign out.
Privacy by design

Your files are yours

Duck Do is built so that an agent can work on your computer without your computer's contents moving to our servers. Read the details in our Privacy Policy.

How pricing works

Pay only for what you use

The apps are free. AI usage is paid with prepaid credits — $1 buys 100 credits — and each model has a published per-token price.

  1. Create a free account

Download Duck Do and sign in with email or Google. One account works on all your devices.

  2. Top up credits

Buy a one-time credit pack from $5 to $100. No subscription, nothing renews automatically.

  3. Use any model

Credits are deducted by actual usage at the published rates. Your balance and history are always visible in the account center.

FAQ

Common questions

What exactly am I paying for?

You pay for AI usage: the tokens the models read and write for you, plus web searches, speech recognition and read-aloud. You buy credits in advance and they are deducted as you use Duck Do, at the prices listed on our pricing page. Downloading and using the apps themselves is free.

Is there a subscription?

No. Credit packs are one-time purchases and never renew automatically. You top up only when you want to.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — within 14 days of purchase, a pack whose credits have not been used at all can be refunded in full. Once any credits from a pack have been used, that pack is no longer refundable. See the Refund Policy for the details and how to ask.

Who processes my payment?

Purchases on the web and the desktop app are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which also handles sales tax and VAT. Purchases inside the iPhone or Android app are processed by Apple or Google.

Does Duck Do use Claude Code?

Optionally. On the Mac you can choose Claude Code to run a session. That session talks to Anthropic directly using your own Claude subscription; it does not use Duck Do credits, and Duck Do never handles your Claude credentials.

Do you train AI models on my data?

No. We don't train models. Your conversations are sent to the model provider you selected only to generate a reply. See the Privacy Policy for which providers are involved.

How do I contact you?
